Ask
Develop actionable ideas to support employee engagement and well-being at R/GA, and to make R/GA a place of opportunity in the full sense of the word.
Insight
Community isn’t one size fits all, but newer employees don’t have the time and energy to create more personal communities.
Big Idea
Design a system of protected opportunities for remote hires to match with communities that connect to their individuality.
Highlighting the key words and getting to the core of what is the REAL problem we are solving.
Analyzing what is really means by protected opportunity and individuality, how to execute them to fulfill the purpose of the insight.
AUDIENCE
This project focuses on remote hires that have worked at R/GA for 1-3 years. They’re seeking belonging and community, yet have their individual needs.
Our team developed this personalized platform providing information on relevant company events, activities, and resources.
The concept behind RGA+ is to bring people and communities together under one roof, and to build onto the legacy that R/GA already has.
EXECUTION
[ Mobile view ]
We start our user (R/GA employees) journey by providing a preference quiz upon sign up, users will then get one of the three archetypes based on their personal interests.
[ Main web page at a glance ]
THE 3 ARCHETYPES
Using Archetypes, R/GA+ provides tailored events recommendation to users, creates protected opportunities for all employees.

The Advocate
Someone who enjoys making an impact, giving back, paying it forward and helping others — like Andrew. One of events designed for this archetype is a protected opportunity to volunteer at non-profits organizations. Company provides volunteer options and this day remains a paid workday.

The Collaborator
Someone who enjoys being with others, want to belong and be around people — like Amari. For this archetype, we use the example of highlighting and encouraging participation in both interest clubs and cultural related backgrounds, besides club events, a dedicated club activity day will be provided each month for employees to connect and engage further.
The Explorer
Someone who has a sense of adventure, they like to try new and interesting things and are curious to improve themselves — like Fatima. For this archetype, we developed an exchange program concept - a hierarchy of teams swap from different locations, giving the employees the chance to learn and grow in a different environment with all levels of collaboration.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Event Calendar At A Glance
Employees can access event schedules on R/GA+ webpage under the events tab. Convenient navigation by week, with zoom/in-person options, direct RSVP on event page which will be automatically added to their work calendar.
R/GA+ REWARD SYSTEM
The R/GA+ Rewards system collects points as employees sign up and participate in company events.
The collected points can be used to redeem remote work from home office supplies, employee discounts from brands R/GA works with, and when they provide us with their important dates (first/last day, birthday, parental leave, etc), R/GA+ sends personalized gifts to their doorstep — making employees our VIPs.
R/GA+ isn’t a place where we push out events that we THINK employees want, with time they might not have.
This is meant to give INDIVIDUALS, the chance to do things we as HUMANS passionately love — it’s the “I want to”, not the “I have to”.
This is not just an extension of R/GA, instead, it is an extension of our humanized future.
