Problem

Under the influence of the pandemic, R/GA has adopted work from home and hybrid model, but this new working style has drastically decreased employee engagements.

Insight

Employees feel that there’s limited time and space for community connections and igniting personalized passions within the company.

Solution

Re-ignite employee connections. Design a system of protected opportunities for remote employees to match with communities that connect to their individuality.

EXECUTION

We developed a personalized platformR/GA+, which provides information on relevant company events, activities, and resources.

UI design remains cohesive with R/GA existing elements (minimalism, square elements and fonts) with a twist of color to add-on the liveliness of employee engagement.

R/GA+ can be accessed through Slack Plug-In or directly via R/GA’s main website.

STEP 1 — THE USER QUIZ

Starting our users (R/GA employees) journey with a personalization quiz upon sign up, users will then get one of the three archetypes results based on their personal interests.

STEP 2 — THE ARCHETYPES

The Advocate | The Collaborator | The Explorer

To better match with compatible users, employees get recommended company-wise events based on their archetypes.

The Advocate

Someone who enjoys making an impact, giving back, paying it forward and helping others.

Event example: Opportunity to volunteer at non-profits organizations.

Company provides volunteer options and this day remains a paid workday.

The Collaborator

Someone who enjoys being with others, want to belong and be around people.

Event example: Interest clubs and cultural related groups.

A dedicated club activity day will be provided each month for employees to connect and engage further.

The Explorer

Someone who has a sense of adventure, who likes to try new and interesting things and are curious to improve themselves.

Event example: Global office exchange program.

A hierarchy of teams swap from different locations, allowing employees the chance to learn and grow in a different environment with all levels of collaboration.

Employees can access event schedules on R/GA+ webpage under the events tab.

Convenient navigation by week, with zoom/in-person options, direct RSVP on event page which will be automatically added to their work calendar.

R/GA+ REWARDS SYSTEM

— Make employees our VIPs.

The R/GA+ Rewards system collects points as employees sign up and participate in company events.

Points can be used to redeem:

  • Remote work from home office supplies

  • Employee discounts from brands R/GA works with

  • Special dates (first/last day, birthday, parental leave, etc), R/GA+ sends personalized gifts to their doorstep
